Teri Schindler

Teri Schindler is the co-founder and CEO of Herzog & Schindler and owner of Polyplexus.com. With decades of experience producing and distributing award-winning content, she has pioneered innovative brand, content, and distribution strategies for dynamic ecosystems.

As a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) performer, she contributed to projects focused on dynamic information presentation with experts from MIT Media Lab. She was part of a consortium that developed the Polyplexus platform, which originated from a DARPA program focused on increasing efficiency in the first mile of innovation by leveraging social networking principles, open innovation, and community. Teri has collaborated with multiple agencies and institutions, including ARPA-H, on horizon scanning and idea generation.

Teri is well-versed in the evolving media ecosystem, having worked as a writer, director, and producer for NBC, CBS, and HBO. She has won multiple Emmy awards and was the first woman to produce live NCAA March Madness broadcasts. She worked on the launch of the March Madness on Demand platform. As an executive at the NBA, she distributed live broadcast and digital content globally and was a founding member of the WNBA. She later joined Davis Brand Capital and as its president worked with Fortune 100 clients on brand and digital strategies across multiple sectors including science and technology, media and entertainment, and consumer products.

Teri attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, and was an All-American swimmer. She co-founded Herzog & Schindler to focus on the platform-driven convergence of brand, content, community, and distribution.
